ZENO
ZENO is a project that investigates, through the fusion of conceptual research and aesthetic research, the dreamlike and interior reality of contemporary man, proposing a timeless vision, suspended between dissociated drama and theatrical expressiveness.
It is a subtle and precarious balance that sustains us in a world with a fast pace; we are acrobats of life, balanced on the vertigo of dreams and nightmares. The curtain has opened, without anyone warning us and, like actors who improvise, we are called to play our role.
But every show that respects itself, works only if, at times, the pace is slowed down and if we observe the pauses, the suspensions, those moments in which nothing seems to happen and everything happens. Well: those are the moments of endless concentration that allow us to dream, to reflect on ourselves, on our paths and destinies. It is a suspension that allows immersion in the hidden and original place, where everything is created, where the characters that animate our inner world acquire voice and appearance; we make visible what is dreamlike, we allow all our thoughts, even the most morbid, to take place in the theater of our existences.
In a dramatic and universally valid vision, beyond any temporal dimension, ZENO shows how it is possible to know the “inner self” in depth, provided we have the courage to free ourselves from what does not actually belong to us. Behind the mask, each of us is ZENO.
